What is a “spazzy” white belt?

If you just started training you’ll hear people being called a spazzy white belt.
So what is a spazzy white belt?
The classic example would be the new guy built like large silverback. They will;
- Hold on to every grip so tight as if they’re hanging off the empire state building by a rope.
- Try to strangle you with their bare hands
- Grab and twist your fingers.
- Try subs from terrible positions
The worst thing about rolling with a spazzy white belt is you’re at risk of getting;
- Kicked in the face
- Kneed in the face
- And even elbowed in the face
You often end the roll looking like you just had a bar fight with a grizzly bear.
So in a nutshell, a spazzy white belt is anyone who uses a lot of strength and does chaotic things to chase subs without any positions to finish.
If you think this is you.
